ive read reviews... hmmm, not quite sure what i think of em, but i have a chance to get an 05 troy lee edition (i know... oooooohhhh, ahhhhhh... lol)
but i want the stunters review... lol..

I hated my predator with a passion. I blew it up twice in 5 months. I ride with a guy and his fell apart pretty fast but he cant ride like i do and he doesnt take care of it. My buddy bought one did the suspention and plus 2ed it all and hated it and sold it. the happiest day was trading it in for my YFZ the badest bike out there!

 

i kind of like the new one with the KTM motor, but ill stick with my Honda.

 

there good quads,my friend has the same one that you can buy and his is the white troy lee edtion,thing is quick as f*** comes up in 3 just by hitting the gas and it runs fine it doesnt even have antifreeze in it and it runs good and it sits out in the rain

 

I got to ride one a couple months ago...It was lean , and fast...a Little top heavy (sat tall) It felt a little too powerful to stunt smoothly (But Im sure a few guys out there with mad skills can rock them.... buT I like my simple Ole 400EX...

 

yea, i guess the earlier ones (03's and 04's) had some problems with the trannys and the seat ergonomics. In 05, they redesigned the seat a little bit and also updated the shift pattern a little.
As far as the top heavyness, i hear they are just plain heavy to begin with! lol i read they are 40lbs more than the raptor, so i can just imagine... but then again, im pretty top heavy myself... lol
Well, I may be picking up an 05 Troy Lee Designs edition today (partial trade for my bike) so hopefully I will be able to whoolie it like the z400's. I hear there isnt much of a market for these, so i really hope i like it, cuz if not i will prolly loose my @$$ trying to sell it...

yeah, the outlaw... it also has independant rear suspension... i bet that makes turning wheelies a lil easier! lol

 

well, i got it.... id post pics, but its nothing fancy... an 05 predator 500 in the troy lee orange... it wheelies fairly well, im gonna play with the adjustments on the rear suspension a lil bit, try to keep the rear axle a little more stationary as im transitioning from acceleration to deceleration... also, its easy to stall like most of those 450s... i kinda miss the 400's ability to bog a lil bit without falling flat on its face...

anyways, enough about me... maybe ill post a pic or two of it in action over the next week or so... no garbage videos to look forward to edited to rap music from me... i no longer have a dv cam, nor a computer strong enough to support any sort of movie editing... so you lucked out! haha

good to see some of the same ol faces in here... and im sure ill meet the new ones...
