balence point on 400 ex

I've been riding a friends 400 ex all day and cannot find balance point. It seems like it is right before it falls onto the rear bar. I'm doing sit downs and clutching it up at approx 3-5 miles per hour. How high is balance point and what's the best way to catch it?

turn up the idle, and catch it with the rear brake...

if your sitting down ...at BP the rear bar will be about 12 inches from the ground

if you're standing up (left foot in rear bar...and right foot covering rear brake)BP is a little lower....the rear bar is 14 or 15 inches from the ground

have fun

sweet thanks man. I'm going to play with the idle in the morning. how high do you usually set it? On my bike I usually keep it around 3000 and that works fine. But I've never played with quads much.
