I never wear one. I need to start I just never have on a quad. On my bike I always wear it. I don't know what the difference is.... comfort I guess.

im an idiot, ionly wear mine in shows when we had to wear them.

im goona make sure i wear it more often so my kids get the point that helmets are important

 

yeah...it sucks when your kids see you ride without the lid on i defently got to work on keeping a lid on things.

 

Most of the time i wear one, i have younger people looking up to me, so if they see me wearing it, well, it helps for them to where it too

plus i have a custom paint job on mine, eventhough it is nicked' to hell

but when i am warming the bikes up or taking it off the trailer/truck i tend not to wear it, loading up i alway wear it, wheeling up the ramps to the truck i sometimes aren't lined up right and flip rarely

 

I agree with most here.... I've ridden many times without... still do but only very rarely.... I've been trying more and more to wear it all the time (for a couple reasons)
1. depending on where you are riding ....it could be the difference of being kicked out or not...by Cops OR the owners ! Non Riders Cringe at seeing Riders with No Helmet and Don't want any part of it ...FACT
2. It's not necessarily my Riding that I dont trust ...BUT a mechanical failure....the scariest one (which I've experienced AT LEAST 5 or 6 times in my Life and 75% of the time resulted in a crash! ) Is the Throttle hanging WIDE THE **** OPEN ) All it take is a crash that hits your throttle assemble OR kinks or pinches your throttle cable...and then you go back to riding and if it hang....You're in for a wild ride !
3. I've had a few close call now...where it wasnt anything I did....but I almost got Run the **** over by my friend ....who was outta control (hey ...it happens when you're trying to learn stuntin ) And If I'm gonna be taken out by accident...even though it's not my fault...I'd rather be wearing a lid ...before any other kind of protective gear.
4. I've had close calls where simple stuuf at slow speeds almost went bad.... for instance ...while riding no handed wheelie...the handlebars dropped to the right...and the thumb throttle hit my quadricep on my leg...and punched the throttle ! Well since i wasnt hanging on. the quad took off and slammed on the rear bar and I flew off the back (not holding on will cause that...LOL) luckily I didnt faceplant. just my x 4...lol

ROFL not You dude..... jeff up at the MaconSpeedway show was wheeliyng the quad and almost ran me over on the xr80 ....i had a balanced out nice little wheelie ...and he was behind me chasing a high revver !!! hehe
