seems to me like more people have been trying it than ever before 
I got my quad up on one wheel yesterday about 5 or 6 times (without any ramps OR HILLS.....havent hit a full circle or even come close....but Im surely not giving up ....and it's by No means a waste of time....my riding has improved since i've been trying. I've tried with both sets of my tires...and IMO i like the streets better, even if the profile doesn't seem like it will work as well.
hey Catman ...I've been practicing wheelies on bikes predominantly this summer ....and been slowin them down .....On the xr80tard yesterday...while practicing touching the 12 bar to the ground... I accidentally dipped into a half circle yesterday for my first time at about 2 or 3 mph (real slow)....and it felt awesome.... also I'm only weeks away from all the 600's being finished...then the 80 will probably get parked for awhile and we're gonna be practicing strictly on the f4easy's :YEAH

Yeah CATMAN.... 1 minty street....1 street stunter ...and 1 lot stunter.... lot bike might be done by this weekend....and street stunter a week or so after that.... I'll KYP on shows we'll definately hook up sometime throughout the summer.... I'm hittin KOTS in a few weeks to spectate(you're probably hittin psychofest?) (I wanna watch mana and colton and And all the other local southern boys kill it !!!! ) and maybe shoot some vid to study on later ...hehe Your avatar your 750 or 1000 ? later

i had a video of myself screwin around in a shale pit and on a road doing donuts and pulling the front wheels up, it would only rip one or 2 circles untill it caught and put the quad into a wierd *** circle one wheel highside, try ripping donuts and bringin the fron wheels up, im sure with enough practice you could make something pretty cool

Just about every goofy clip i made, I do it in dirt. It's just as easy. I know you have done it without the dougnut. I do it on my gixxer in a straight line.
Just burn out let the tire slow down a little, let out the brake and pull up.
You of all people, I thought , would have tried this ?
actualy i flipped on my side doin it in a parking lot, ridin with extreme acres. There gravel on the lot so the burn out sucked.
I'll do it in the driveway next time i got it out ?? It's No big deal ?? Getting the quad to turn in a circle burning out is the hardest part, it don't spin fast for me. ( gotta be flat ), pulling the wheelie out is simple ??

i dont think we are thinking the same hes talking of doing circle burn outs with the front up is what im thinking that would be like drifting with just the back tires on the ground . just like the proper circle on a quad i dont think it could be done.
