ALL OF THE ABOVE PLUSS,the biggest benefit i think is for racing and a deff must the first time you get a competetors tire stuck and send you both end over end not funn there. or just battleing in turns elbo to elbo, they protect in many ways only beginers and stunna's DONT run them

ok i only read a few but i hope some one said the real purpose for them is when your raceing some one else tires done get stuck in between there, there not ment for when you fall just put your feet there, they mightwork but do it a few times and im sure they will snap,

:::THAT'S FALSE::: i lost some bolts puttin nerf bars on my old 'zuke and ended up just leavin the footpeg off and i had nothing to put my right foot on but the net, and i rode it like that for about a year, no snappage whatsoever. and they were even the cheap DG ones.
now i got AC pro-pegs baby! the pegs are good for stand ups
