hey gettin a new quad but dont know if i should get a new 2004 z400($3900) 2004 kfx400($3700) or 2005 450r ($2900), the kfx is brand new never ridden, the z400 and 450r have like 2hours on it but look great what do yall think?

 

What are you going to do w/ the quad?

 

if this is a stunt quad only.. get a used... why would you buy new anyways??

well its 4 my dad and he rides in the dunes and trails, i already have a 400ex, but hes lookin 4 sumthin fast, and easy 2 handle on jumps, so wer probably gonna use it 4 racing what do yall think?

 

then def. go 450r!!! the z is fast (even though the kfx and the x are exactly the same) so between those i would go for the bike with less milage and better price but since the 450r seems so much cheaper, i'd go with that cuz it is def. supposed to be fast!

but if the 450r seems beat, i'd def. pay the extra money to have a mint z, or kfx rather than a beat up, ragged out 450r.

 

its not beat up but were not sure if its fraud cuz he sez hes in the UK and 4 2900 really hard 2 believe, but we did find a troy lee predator for 3600$ and 450r for $4000 around here

 

At that price I'd buy all 3 where do you find these deals

 

For those prices I would not buy them unless I could actually drive to a location, hand a person the money, get a bill of sale, and load the quad.

Anything over the internet for that kind of money sounds too good to be true...and probably is.

 

Oh must have missed the part where he said he was doing buisness over the internet, chances are (if you haven't already seen them) they,re junk then, or hot make sure you got proof they were the last to register them

not necissarily... i got my z400 for 3700 and it was only a year old, and bone stock other than race peg nerfs and renthal bars. and it was MINT, drivin by the guys wife.

and we drove 10 hours from virginia to kentucky to get it and my 400ex, both were minty as hell, owned by some rich cat. just be careful.

get the 450 if your gunna race it, try looking into a LTR450, that would be perfect for a race setup.

 

how do ltrs sound? r they hard 2 work on?

 

or what do u think about a predator 4 3700 looks pretty good its got black rims, new tires.......

 

Jones off road is OK. They do have a lot of quads to choose from though. I've been there before. If I was going to choose from the one's you've said, I'd get a z400 or a trx450r.
