Re: Flat track....

Hoosiers or american racing

if i were you just get some +3 a arms and run stock shocks. maybe a durablue swaybar and a shortened rear shock.

or you can be redneck like me

i am warning you tho... this DID blow my rear shock... it was totally ****in worth it tho.. rippin 40-50 mph around corners in subdivisions running from cops was TOTALLY worth it..

Lonestar makes some great a-arms and anti sway bars

Cost alot to set one up right for racing, but once you do you will be amazed how they perform !! and it's not like you cant switch it back for trail ridin with a little wrench time

You got to try flatrackin :YEAH

Re: Flat track....

That's badass, wish there was a place to do that around here. I have seen a set up like catman's before, on a 'shee for drag racing, only he didn't have no fancy strap, just some rope.

Re: Flat track....

Some pics from what I guess you call flattrack "over there".

My debutant race and ended up third.

Lineup:

In the pack: #33

Finished!:

Podium, me on the right:

Despite gearbox problems (couldn't shift down, only up) and a SuperMotard suspension setup (Way to hard), it was a lof of fun! Came at a price though, "quite" battered and bruced after the race. Came from bouncing around on the bumpy track.

Re: Flat track....

Catman - Ah, there U go. This is like an ordinary track, both left and right turns (no jumps). What is it with U Americans and ovals?

Well truethfully here there is flattrack like I said and also tt racing that is more like what use do. tight many turns a small jump or two and a short streach on to the oval and back into the infield for some tight twisty bang yer elbo's fun If I can find some pics from laurenceberg speedway 2 years ago I'll post you would realy dig the TT raceing.
