help for stoppies

im starting to roll stoppies in my z400 i just got steel cables for my brakes and i replaced the brake pads with new ones but now the left calliper gets like stuck and when im not braking the left tire its harder than the right one and this causes the quad to give like a 90 degrees turn when doing a stoppie and one time i got on 1 front wheel and almost fell! i bleeded the brake lines and its the same, maybe the pads were put wrong? the guys that repair bikes here in mexico are really dumb last time they changed the oil they left the draining screw loose and it was dropping oil i had to put almost a liter of oil so i could ride it. So anyone have any tips or recomendations to repair this?
Also im getting a new set of front tires anyone knows which tires are good for making stoppies on pavement? i ride on pavement like 80% of the time

Thanks for your help!

Re: help for stoppies

are you positive both sides are bleed properly? I would jack the front end up and pin the tires by freehand and then use to the brake to investigate more.

Re: help for stoppies

the sliding pins on the Left caliper are probibly frozen... they allow the caliper to center on the rotor... if tyou replace the pads and the pins are locked up it will only give you partial braking forc on that side, and drag constantl at first.... hope that helps
