Little Problem

I left my lights on on my 400 ex and the battery died. So i have to push start it cuz the lights dont work and the starter button doesnt work.
I put a new battery in and the lights and stuff still dont work- it does not even make a noise when i push the ignition button.
What else could it be?

Re: Little Problem

Some new batteries for quads/bikes have to be charged. If not, sounds like the Batt terminals may not be tight enough.

yea what he said, you cant miss it, it is right beside the battery.

my bike kept blowing then for whatever reason so i just put a 20amp in there (i think the factory is 10 or 15).

problem solved

You need a trickel charger to charge fourwheeler and motorcycle batteries you also probaly bought a drycell battery so make shure to mix the acid with water and fill all 6 chambers(i'm guessing you already knew that) Don't leave it on a cement floor either, it will ruin it.

sorta defeats the purpose of the fuse

the reason for a low amp fuse is so the fuse frys before your bike does

blowing fuses means a short somewhere

theres not much wiring on a quad .. get a volt meter and do some trouble shooting
