idle with big bore???

curious how everyone adjust there idle on there quads???? Plus I have a 400EX bored to a 426 with a hot-cam, full muzzy exhaust, and motion pro twist throttle, plus I adjust the idle at the throtle housing.

I can do almost anything on it, but I cannot get it to hold an idle for ****!!! Is it because of my engine mods, or what????

Also, does anyone have a setup for a handbrake on a 400EX and has pics???? I keep parking my highcharis, hahaha, kinda funny when people are laughing until you can't get down
I have an F4i rear master cylinder, heard of cutting one and welding it to the other like a GP Tech adaptor thats welded on....might do that to!!

Re: idle with big bore???

I've got one on my 600RR, but don't have the money right now for another one. Someone told me if you have 2 master cylinders you can remove the part from one where the brakeline comes out and weld it to the other and it works the exact same, except you don't have to hose clamp it tight.

As for the idle not holding.....is that because the motor is "hopped up" with racing cams and big bore???
