the reason gas prices went up so suddenly is the hurricane, which tells me one of 2 things:
1) You're an idiot and didn't realize there was an oil refinery in Louisiana
2) You blame the hurricane on Bush, which would be typical of anyone anti-bush

 

only 1/3rd of the oil for the US comes out of that end of the state......


We are paying for the war at this point...like it for leave it....

 

dude, 1/3 is a lot, if we lost a third of our total oil, don't you think the price of gas should therefore go up by a third

The refineries that are down made up one 10th the oil refined and supplied the US one 10th of it's gasoline.
that is still a stagoring amount.

 

Any way, Tiller Gus's bar looks super ****ing strong. Thats what I am looking for. Do you know what gauge of steel he used and the diameter of that bar? I like catman's design too but I dont think that it will work on my KFX because the body work sticks out past the grab bar.

The solid bar doesnt dig into the ground at all?

 

the solid bar is about an inch and a half across.. the 2 pieces of angle iron are 1/4 in thick

the bar doesnt dig at all.. once u do a few high speed grinds to get it level it works perfect

 

i need a bar hella bad but can't weld, i don't scrape my grab bar on purpose but it happens

your all idiots about gas yes a small amount of refineries and off shore drilling rigs were damaged but that wont affect our oil supplies for months, gas isn't like milk it takes months for it to travel from the ground to the refineries and then to us. Gas prices are going up because oil prices have jumped some due to little chinamen driving more cars and not little 50cc mopeds they got a billion people also we don't have enough refinery capability in the us which raises costs, they will go back down because people arent going to continue to pay 3.50 for a gallon of gas.
But about the 12 bar im working on one right now if you take a piece of round tube bend it with 2 right angles and then just heat up the ends and beat them down to be flat they should be good and bolt into factory locations.
