Yes, those are Hipers.

I haven't even road the quad yet, doing a few mods to it first. I'll be taking it to Dunefest in Oregon next week and doing the break in there. I'm kinda curious to see if the "true" 450 is faster than my '04.

That's because the '06 has a longer stroke. The compression ratio is different as well. I'm not sure if I'm going to like more bottom end to it or not...I really like that mid to high end, rip your arms off, power hit the '04 has. It's gonna be interesting to compare them side by side. I'll have to do some drag racing with them and see which is faster.

Holy that's awesome, and blue to, I like the blue better then the white. I bought my KFX 3 summers ago and my friends have 450r's, Raptor's. EX's, Banshee's, nobody has gotten a YFZ yet and I'm glad, because I would be jealous, I love 'em. Post up more pics when ya get those mods on it!!

For performance mods it's only going to be piped, rejetted, and the airlid removed. I'm not touching the engine on this one...Had another '04 YFZ with a 470 stroker in it, and it was nothing but an unreliable, high maintenance pain in the azz. It gets old when you have to wrench on it more than you can ride it.


Holy that's awesome, and blue to, I like the blue better then the white.
I liked the blue better too, especially the blue a-arms.
I'll probably post some more pics later tonight.
