i was doin some switchback donuts and it just shut off..when i try to start it it makes ill noises

if it will turnover but not crank then your motor is ceased, either from a lack of oil or you were over=revving it, when my stock 400 blew it just stopped running adn acted like it was out of gas, i didn't have enuff oil in it. :twelve

 

while we are on the subject, I was ridin my 400 this weekend and it was making a pinging sound.. I took it to my shop and tore it down, found out that I had a cracked header pipe, bad rings, piston is going bad, need new valves. I just need a damn over-haul.. or a raptor motor in my 400 hunda muhaha :devil

 

both of the above statements are true.....i was makin an ill pinging noise and then it just stopped, i dont remember if it was crankin or not...ill peep it this weekend......but if you heard this bitch before it stopped runnin somethin was def wrong with it

i had just changed the oil and filter a few days before too......GA-BAGE!!

 

400 hundrats are badddd on oil, my rings are going bad so i have to add oil everyday, more than gas ..

 

ouch. im actually going to go check the oil in mine now.
