I found an 03 Z400 with a pipe, nerfs, razr tires, aftermarket wheels, paddle tires, aftermarket front bumper, cut front fenders, etc. nice quad and runs good. He wants $3000. Good deal or not? I would get pics but I dont want to pesture the guy to bring the quad to work. We work at the same place. Let me know what you think.

Check it though, I was looking at an 03 and I was told that the 03s had a lot of problems with frames cracking/breaking. Just give it a good looking, its a great price.

Well I planned on jumping it.

go to z400central.com and find out where the frames crack and then look at those spots on the bike.

other than that my brother just paid 3500 for an 03 fully stock, other than pro peg bars with the heel guards, and aftermarket filter. but it was clean and barely ridden. i also just paid 3500 for an 02 400ex with some goodies.

if its clean and has good power BUY IT

 

Just check around the front upper shock mounts, thats where most of the crackin happens. But 3000 is a pretty nice price for a Z.

 

Well I may or may not try to get it. The guy is kind of a **** sometimes. And I was hoping to use the money I got from graduation to go towards it, but I will be moving into an apartment next week, so it's probably gonna cost like $1000 just to move in.
