Re: phycofest ???????
You say it may cost more to drive than for me to fly...lets see:
Cinn to Beaver Springs, PA is 477 miles. Assuming your new truck gets 15 mpg, that equates to 477/15 = 31.8 gallons x 2.25/gal = $71.55 for gas. The drive is approximately 8 hours, so say you leave at 8 am and drive straight through, you'd eat breakfast, lunch and dinner when you arrive. Breakfast cost about $5/person at McD's, lunch the same and dinner you'll probably spend $15/person after that drive. So that's $25 for food, plus say $10 for snacks and drinks for the rest of the drive which equals $35 for food total. So far that's only $106.55 for gas and food one way. If you take off work that day for the drive and not get paid for the time off and assume you make $15/hr for easy calculations, that's $120 each way for lost salary. So total cost for one way is $226.55, therefore two ways is $453.10. If you leave after work on friday and drive into the night, we'll say each hour of sleep lost is worth $3, so you'd only lose about $12 in that case. So the total cost is only $237.10. So you're best bet would be to leave after work on friday, unless you get paid for the time off, then you'd lose the least amount of money. You can thank me later for all my hard work.

Yea, I just quit yesterday. Got somethings lined up so it's all good. Only thing is I don't know If my new boss( whoever it is) will give me the time off so soon. If he will then it's on like Donkey Kong! But it's like a 80-20 chance.
