This is how I'm trying to make mine. Different from what I've seen. If it comes out right I'll make a few. I figure it will be strong as hell fit perfect all 400ex just weld it on. It will come all the way to the crossmember and support it there too. I don't know if stainless was the way to go but we'll see. i can cut it off and youll never know it was there if I sell it.

Pic 2 I didn't clamp that straight it lines up.
I hoisted the quad up to the rafters got the angle marked on the correct
side and cut it. I'll weld it up tomorrow. Looks with the seat on.

Those who know this stuff correct me if somthing looks wrong.

I'm no expert but I have made a few 12 bars in my day and judging from the pics you will crash if you hit that 12 bar in anything above mid 2nd. You have too much of an angle on that plat and it will not scrpae evenly, meaning just the rear of it will scrape. Your gonna want to have at least 80% of that plate scraping. Looks good so far though.

I hoysted it and welded it up in the air and got it PERRRRFECT. FLUSH with the level Pavement.

yea, i hafta agree.. once you use it a few times, and you are satisfied with the angle, I think (if i were you) i would weld a bigger plate on it... my ...
Looks good tho... much better than the monstrosity I have hanging off my sub-frame...lol Looks like a rack should bolt to it... lol

 

I'll have to see how it wears, I'ts pretty thick Stainless. I can always slap another plate on.
I'm going to make a couple more. One for the yellow bike too.
Maybee I'll put a thicker one on the next one.

measure and weld the whole thing with it hoisted up so you get the angle perrrfect.
