Top Speed, Top Speed...

MY buddies and i got into a huge argument about the top speed of certain vehichles. Since no one has a dyno to test HP or speed on, no one can really give a strait answer. If anyone can give me an accurate top speed for the following vehicles, that would be great appreciated:

Raptor 660
Yfz 450
Honda 450R
Honda 400 EX
kfx/suzukilz400/DVX
Polaris Predator

*Remember, this is if all the vehicles are ABSOLUTELY STOCK
thanks :YEAH

Correct..... It will show both 450's with the yamaha 450 88mph. top speed
biggest improvement with diff. size tires.
my basicly stock 400ex and buddy's kfx 400 dead even at southern ohio speedway halph mile oval clocked 78 mph.maybee a little better on pavement.
my banchee with 404 big bore and lots of extra's clocked at even 90

tires size and spockets, fuel will all make a big diff.

Oh yea,thats my

Re: Top Speed, Top Speed...

I know this has been partially answered but I would have guessed that an honest reading of Bone stock quads would have been like...

Raptor 660 - 72-74mph
Yfz 450 - ?
Honda 450R - ?
Honda 400 EX - 65-68mph
kfx/suzukilz400/DVX - 68-70mph
Polaris Predator - ?

Sorry for the question marks but I could only guess the speeds on quads I've actually had experience with. I have ridden the 450R, but not enough to have a clue about the top speed.

The mags really say that the 450's top out at 88mph??? Completely stock??? I just can't believe it....If it's true, that's fast.

I'll read that article again make sure,I don't think they were stock. changing tire size made the biggest diff.
I'll see if i posted the right info. If not i'll get it right.
The only thing I'm sure of is the speeds we clocked at southern ohio.
