Hey this is for all the honda guys out there im new and i need to know what is the difference between a 2004 Sportrax 400ex and a 2005 TRX 400ex and what would be the better pick to stunt. lata hell raisers

tex looks like the trx 450 and i thinkthey changed the frame or something for better handling. not positive. I would get the sporttrax cuz you can get one cheaper. my

I THINK IT'S JUST PLASTIC LIKE HE SAID but lets check Consult your owner's manual for optional HRC Racing kit parts thats not on the 400ex and the ignition is different so and the 400ex weigh's 11 pounds less! i would go with the 400ex over the trx 400ex well that all see you kittys later

the new 05 400 Loox better, they put a subframe on it, and put reverse on it


If u wanna quad for stuntin, get a 04 and down 400ex they're the 954 of quad stuntin

Get the 400. The old **** is the hot ****. If your stuntin reverse is garbage. Old 400 have a subframe too, parts are endless, honda never changed the 400's design since they started.

if all you doin is stuntin, then the 04 is fine, but if you trail ride and stuff, the reverse isnt bad to have. the only thing i could think of that no one else here has mentioned is that say 5-10 years go by, and you want to sell your ATV, you would be better off selling the one with the newer body style. no one will want the old style, and you many be able to pick up a bit more scratch for it.
