I just ordered Tusk nerfs and I'm about to order an AC racing front bumper for my little z anyone know if the weight will effect wheelies? shouldn't make a difference right? I'm just curious about it.

 

the new bumper should be lighter than stock and the nerfs wont make a difference

 

I ordered Tusk nerfs btw, my dealer said they suck and I should have went with the AC nerfs, but at twice the price of the Tusks, screw those.

Anyone have experience with Tusk stuff?

 

i think that is what i got for my quad... if so, they seem fine... even tho they are less expensive, they are actually made of thicker metal (alum alloy) which is way stronger than reg bars... i think... they hold my 220 all day long, without a bit of pissyness...lol

the tubing on the tusk is 1 3/8 in aluminum. It is actually thicker than some other manufactures. I was thinking about getting some also. hey seemyzwheelie, did you have to weld the nerfs on to your frame, or did they just bolt on?

 

they just bolt on. You hafta drill 2 holes in each footpeg, but in the front you just take out the bolt that holds the engine mount, put the brackets up there, and instal the supplyed longer bolt.
I like them, i think they are great, esp for the $$$. I think mine were 99.99, and i ordered the blue webbing for an addl 12.99.
