been having trouble keep wheelie up

havent been about to do my whole driveway yet, not even close i can only keep it up for about 20 feet which is terrible

could be that it is not a level surface when i do get it up i tend to be going right for a tree

a grab bar wood help too, but my bike does have one

and i am still not good with the rear brake, cant figure it out

dont know been thrown off over a dozen times from going back too far which my exhaust keeps digging in the ground

oh i also use twist throttle

any hints on getting farther, i want to go the whole 380 feet of the drive way with out putting it down

Re: been having trouble keep wheelie up

if ur pullin to one side, let some air outta the oppisite tire

if ur rockin sitdown wheelies with a twist throttle its gonna be a lil harder than the rest of us with thumb throttle

Best thing to do is getta bar fabb'd up on the back, cuz doin them with 1 foot in the bar is way easier.

and as far as learnin rearbrake, start out smackin it, like if ur commin too far, smack the rear brake and slam it down, then after a while u'll get the hang of just usin it a lil to keep it up

just keep practicin dood

Re: been having trouble keep wheelie up

yea it sucks not having a grab bar on the back
i need to get one of them for the quad
that would make it easier

this is my second 300ex but ten years ago when i had my other one i could go alot farther with the thumb throttle

but i have been getting out of shape alittle and havent been riding too much
which should start practicinig i guess every day, instead of once a month
