I like Ulead Media Studio Pro. Pretty much anything over $300 is probably good.

Both good suggestions for the $$$. I'd go with Premier though... higher the version the better obviously. Premier is an Adobe product and when used with Photoshop and AfterEffects... you can make some pretty sick stuff. If you've got the $5000... go with Final Cut Pro HD or Avid. Both pricey, but used throughout the industry, including Hollywood Movie Editors.

you can use vegas with photoshop and after effects too

i use premier pro 1.5the newest version out and well worth the money imo.. theres tons and tons of plugins that will expand it even more

premeir is not very user friendly and will take a while to get used to...
after effects is almost impossible to use unless you have prior training or did some sort of reading into it, its very complicated but an industry standard for any professional video editor

adobe encore is by far the best authoring program i have ever used

well right there ya prob got 3g's wrapped up in programs have fun with it and post it up when your finished
