For my 250EX I just got done makin it...strong as hell and wont ever budge...Went to home depot got a piece of 10" galvanized steel pipe with threaded ends, then I put 90* elbows on the ends of it and 2 more pieces of 10" pipe threaded to the elbows so it made a big "U" I had to flatten the ends with a press to get them to bolt up to the frame and went out scraped it for an hour then welded a piece of .25 steel stock onto the angle of the scrapes...Been riding it for 2 days and scraping the hell out of it and the steel hasnt even worn off the black coating...Ill post pics...

 

well i pretty much want it to look like one off a streetbike with one flat edge.... i plan on attaching a spark plate... also i can give you dimensions...

 

Andy, we can make what that guy made...its a good idea and we can use my weldin stuff.

 

i was just thinkin of gettin some round bar and puttin some thick metal at the end. i dont know how good it would work but it sounds like it might.

 

It might bend, but as long as you can replace your grabbar i think it'll work okay for now.

 

i have a prm grap bar, the really wide one with the double handles,its aluminum so it would just grind off if i drug it....all i did was take steal angle and made a square shell around the end of my grab bar.....i have been draggin it since the summer and works perfect...

 

I also have a 04 z400 and looking for a strong grab bar to do 12's on. Anyone know where I could find one or make one. Thanks
