The only group I know of out of Michigan (and they aren't stunters really but if you're just starting out than it's a good match) is redlinesuperbike. I do believe the have their own website and they also can be found at www.sportbikeworld.com (Hope I don't get in trouble for that :D )

Starter Bikes:
Honda F4I
GSXR 600
Actually any 600 will be decent for a starter bike. From what heard the Kawasaki ZX6 is the most comfortable. It handles well and is pretty quick.

I don't know of any crews out there in michigan but as for your starter bike, think along the lines of a Kawa 250, Kawa 500, or Kawa 600. Don't won't to get to big and then wreck the poor thing.

wow

first off all, damn! and second you definitly don't wanna start on a 600 F4i,GSXR,R6 way too dangerous you need to start out on something like a 250 or at the most a ninja 500, but if your pride won't let you get anything less than a 600 get a yamaha yzf600R not an R6, the yzf600r is still pretty darn fast, but easier to handle than many of the600's out there! be safe rid'n ain't no joke!
