A question for the girls who RIDE
I'm sure this has been asked before, but I'm gonna ask again
How many girls on this board actually ride a motorcycle or own one... post pics if you have them...
I hope this post doesn't sound too snotty... I'm just curious...cuz a lot of the girls i see on stuntlife don't actually ride....

Just learning to ride ... don't have my own bike just yet ... Looking for one ... any suggestions for a first bike? I was thinking a used CBR600 ...
By the way ... all you girls rock! You're stunts are amazing ... I'm new to this whole thing ... I never knew there were so many rockin' girls out there! Gives us new riders something to look forward too ...

I started off on a 92 Honda F2 which I think was a great beginners bike. If you can get a newer 600 (maybe late 90's, 97,98,99) that would prolly be your best bet, in my opinion. I think Honda's are great bikes especially for beginners. Good Luck!!
I don't stunt, I'm too chicken but I love to watch them, we're out there almost every nite.

Thanks so much! A lot of my guy friends have Hondas ... and that is what I am learning on so far. I am lucky enough to have someone who taught me on his bike ... and a few other friends who will let me ride theirs (all Hondas).
I'm glad you said to get a late 90s model too ... that's what I was thinking but was unsure!
We'll see if I ever have the guts to stunt ... I have some awesome supportive friends ... so I'm sure that will help. But I LOOOVE watching too! Been watching my boys for years!
Thanks again!!!

I'm sure there are girls out there with different opinions as me on the Honda's but I would say go with whatever you are comfortable with. That was just my personal experience.
Do you plan on taking the MSF Course?? I highly suggest it, it taught me a lot!!

Thinking about it ... It all depends on my schedule. Unfortunately in my business, EVERYONE works on Saturdays. Though my boss is really cool and supportive of me riding ... so I should be able to take off.
I've heard it is an awesome course and every little bit can help. I've heard that it also can help lower your insurance ... anyone in Jersey know if this is true? (Jersey is the worst insurance state ... )

I learned everything I know from that class (the basics), the rest is experience and actual riding time. I tell everyone I talk to about the MSF Course. I was told it was suppose to lower my insurance too but it didn't do anything for my company.
