Red face Riding on a Gixxer 600,750,1000

Hi, Im new at this I joined in yesterday . I have been riding my gixxer 600 for past 5 months now. Lately whenever I ride my bike and I go over the bumps or doing a little endos, the tank in front of me hurt my private groin!! That chit hurts I wonder if any of you ladies have the same problem with huge tank? Im only 5'5 120 lbs and it seems like the tank takes all the space I have when I have to reach to the handlebars. I think the bike is perfect for me cuz I love riding it the only problem is the damn tank.

I have a '01, I dont know if it's the pants but whenever I get on the bike and I sit on it.. ouch! I'd have to pull the front of the pants to make the sitting comfortable lol!

I also remember talking to some guy and he has a gsxr but can't remember the size. whenever he do endos or doing some stunts he'd call the tank "busta nut" lol I can image how painful it can be for me.

Ive ridden friend's gixxers and its strange how they are by a few pounds lighter than yamahas but seem heavier cuz they are so much wider, but I know what ur talkin about thats one of the reasons I got my R1, yamis are skinnier, and Im 5'6, not too short, but still not flat footed, I wouldnt mess with lowering it at all, it seems to f(*k with the handling too much, most times I just wear bigger shoes like platforms, it may sound crazy but I do my better 3rd gear standups with my big shoes, maybe cuz Im taller on the pegs and I have that much better of a view but eh I dunno....

oh yeah a small pillow wouldnt hurt lol. Yeah from what Im told the lightest to heavy bikes in order would be Kawaski, Yamaha,Honda and Suzuki. I was kinda surprised though gixxer is wider.

I know this guy could balance on his bike on thekickstand and turn it around. I was amazed and tried to do the same.. damn nearly broke my back! It's soo heavy and I asked him if he could do it on my bike and he struggled to do it. It's pretty heavy and when I picked up his bike and balance it on the kickstand, it was soo easy cuz he has a yamaha r6.

Anyone able to do that on a gixxer? I guess I'd have to have big muscles to be able to do that lol.

I'm only 5'4" and ride a 00 gixxer 750 and I find that if I wear loose fitting pants I don't have any problems.

The gixxer probably has the widest tank I've ever seen on a sportbike.

I wouldn't recommend spinning your bike on the kickstand. I saw a kid do it and the damn thing broke right off and smash it fell right on top of him.

It wasn't pretty

IMO I thought the gixxer's made your bum sit higher than other bikes. Maybe it's just me, but that is how I felt on the 1k.
