icon boots they got a steal shank in em and feel real secure on the pegs...i wear em all the time besides riding, people always ask where i got them

I tried a nice pair of sketchers, but where the heel is and as wide as my foot is, I kept slipping off the pegs. I've been riding in Vans for a while and they're pretty comfortable, but offer almost no road rash protection. A couple guys I know just go down to the Army/Navy surplus store and pick up some cheap combat boots, but I'll never wear those again...too many memories. It all depends on what the rider is comfortable with, and what level of protection you need. Just ask RedlinePayton if he wishes he had some riding boots on. Even if you're not 100% comfortable, you can get used to riding with different gear...my gloves are a perfect example.

gott admit i ride in sneaks..... tried the boot thing but my feet felt so clunky it was hard to ride....
found out i am able to ride in stilleto boots.... only did it for a few minutes for my sisters film school project though... :YEAH
