Red face Hey Girl Stunters! Whats your size?

i realize this is kind of a personal question but the thing is i have to convince my boyfriend i could at least hold my own.

he thinks i am too light for wheelies or burnouts or even riding in a straight line. im 5'6 about 105 lbs.

what are your sizes?! weight and height?

i know us chicks are kinda sensitive about that kinda **** but from the pics you guys look pretty thin as well.

i really need some help convincing him i can do this so any info would be great.

my email is allyoucantiff@aol.com if its all too personal for public forums.

thanks girls!

IM 5'8 1/2 and 120lbs. Ive been riding for 4yrs and have had no issues, not even out on the track. Lighter and smaller doesn't neccessarily make a difference

Re: Hey Girl Stunters! Whats your size?

I'm 5'4" on a good day and about 130. Only problem I've found is just being too dang short - just make sure you can reach the ground well on whatever you're riding and you'll be fine for the most part.

I lost my balance while stradling the bike and trying to reach the garage door opener and was able to pick up the F3 up off its side. It was a struggle, but I did it.

i think some of the time it's not the size of the rider but their ability..... that goes for guys and girls. why go so big on your next bike? i've never really understood the point of a liter bike on the road i've been on my boyfriends 954 and didn't like it at all. too twitchy for me and the seat is like a rock do what ya want girl, just be safe!

I'd like to get a bike that big, but I'm afraid of it - when it's not running. There's no doubt in my mind that I'd be able to ride it. I'm just worried about problems when you're stopped or on gravel or on wet or slippery surfaces. I have my hands full moving my F2 when it's not running. I can't image something even bigger and heavier. But if those aren't concerns of your, all the more power to you - GO FOR IT! :YEAH

hmmm

whats the difference from a bigger size engine have to do with anything?
aren't the new 9 hundreds even lighter anyhow? I know more about Yamaha's.. but I figured hondas are the same... but the new 05' R1 is just as light if not lighter than my 04' R6... amazing! you can hurt yourself on any size engine... granted weight may have something to do with it.. but my 02' 600r was 400lbs dry weight.. and even heavier after putting a scrap bar and cage on it.. with no plastics.. i'm glad I started off on a heavier bike.. cause now on my R6 I can throw it around like a dirtbike.
I say, get whatever you want man... yeah the 900's will be faster.. and may scare you a lil more, with the more power.. but.. so did my 600 at first...
blah blah blah... I know.. heh.... word... do whateva!

Re: Hey Girl Stunters! Whats your size?

I'm 5'5" and about 115, I ride a CBR600 F4 with no problems. I've also riden a geared -1 +10 929 and didn't have any problems either.

I agree with the statement that its not necessarily the size of the rider but their ability.

Re: Hey Girl Stunters! Whats your size?

i was told that the 954 or 929 actually has less HP than my old 03 R6. (can anyone confirm this?) But i was recommended not to ride liter bikes because they are torquey and i may not be up for that.

what you mean you may not be up for that? thats like saying.. you want a pony, but you're afraid it might gallup... dude.. a sport bike is a sportbike.. they all have a clutch and a throttle... if you're so worried about torque.. get a 250 ninja.. or a 600 katana... those won't be "too torquey" hahaha... granted a 600 to a 1000cc's will have a noticable difference... but.. still its the same feeling of throwing you back in the seat... I guess what i'm getting at.. is.. its all about throttle control... and its all about you... not the bike...

word..

900s are actually the same weight as the f2's and f3's. They just look bigger because they are wider. Same with the gsxrs the 1000 is only a little heavyer thann the 600 and the bike is the same size.

I stand corrected.

Only time I was ever on a 900rr (Ryan S's) was on the gravel campground roads across from Road America in Elkhart Lake. As I said, I'm 5'4" on a good day and trying to maneuver that thing around on gravel was definately a workout. My F2 was better the next year, but not much. But then again, how often are you on gravel???? Better yet, how far out of town do you have to go to FIND gravel when you live in a big city??

Although I do recall that riding the 900rr around inside the track was fun as hell!!
