Antieau's Welding.....

FVCKING SUCKS DONKY D!CK!

Last month I went there to get my GP tech fitting welded in place so it didn't leak or deflect when the handbrake was applied. I was charged $60, I gave isnstructions that the small screw was just there to hold the fitting to the master and that after the 2 were welded together that it should be removed and the hole welded over. I went to pick it up and the screw was still there and not welded over. I brought this to his attention and he said "It won't leak, and if it does, just bring it back.". So I installed it on my bike and thought that my set up was just a ***** to bleed and didn'tthink twice about it.

Fast forward to last night, miy first time out with the 1000rr master. Thing worked like a champ and could lock up the rear tire. Even the rear brake seemed to work but still felt a little funny. SO I stopped to show Ford and when I pulled on the handbrake enough fluid leaked out to spill on my exhaust and smoke. So last night I took the rear master off and tore it apart so I could get it welded up. I skip out of work a few minutes early to go over to Antieau's Welding to get the hole welded over. I am greeted by a guy and the following converstion takes place:

Worker:Can I help you?

Me: Yeah, I got this fitting welded up about a month ago and this hole wasn't welded up. It is leaking through the hole. I was told to come back if it leaked.

Worker: Hang on, let me get the boss.

(Worker tells boss what I want and I can hear the boss say that he will have to switch over the machine to do it)

Boss(guy who welded it the first time): What can I help you with?

Me: I got this fitting welded here about a month ago and it leaks, I was hoping you could just TIG it closed real quick.

Boss: It will be $20.

Me: You told me to come bac and you would weld it up if it leaks. It leaks so you can't just do it for free?

Boss walks away back into the shop.

Worker: Guess that means no.

What ever happened to standing behind your work and your word?

A big to Antieau's Welding of Westland, MI
