Fairing bolt....friend or foe.

We'll let the pics decide. Here's the story for anyone who wasn't there....

I started doing some SS coasters into stalls and jumping back into SS/Spreaders. Come into a coaster, stall it out and its standing there. (Couldn't really remember what I dd earlier, but now that I think about it I think this is what I did) So its standing there at idle and I pull my brake finger off to grip the whole clip-on and go for a spreader jump. Usually I'll pull my clutch finger off to feather the throttle and put it on the handbrake to use. Well, I think I forgot to move my finger and pulled the clutch instead of the brake (Cold and tired you get stupid). Bike comes back to twelve and lands on the bar and my *** falls outta the tank. Held on and just tried to stand up. I guess on the way down I caught that huge fairing bolt that sticks out on the tail plastic with the backside of my knee. F*ckin owe I thought!!! Probably just scraped it or something, no biggie. Had tights, long johns, and jeans on (f'n cold) and couldn't tell how bad it was. Didn't think much of it so I kept on riding.

About an hour later its getting cold and my leg fricken hurts so I decide to call it a night. Start to notice blood seaping through the jeans on the way home and thought, **** thats not good. So I finally get back to the girl's house and take my **** off. She said she about puked when she saw it. Apparently the bolt got me a little bit worse than I thought. Cut pretty deep. Pretty much skinned the back of my leg and cut into the muscle. Emily said if it was sitting right the muscle was just hanging out.

Fawk, not a good way to end the night. So after about 2 hrs in the ER I got 12 stiches to close me up and put me on my way. All I gotta say is ****..... .

Oh well, gotta get some more battle scars somehow right? Don't worry, I'll be out again thursday night rockin out. :YEAH

I'll post up some pics here in the next few hours. And for anyone who works with me.....I FELL IN THE GARAGE. Remember that!!!!

So you aren't riding tonight? I brought my bike in today. BTW, lots of people replace those bolts with regular ones, I guess they are subframe breakers as well and carniverous bastards. I think i am going to ditch them on my ride after hearing that story.

Haha, thats funny because the doctor was all worried about me having a huge scar back there. She kept telling me different ways to keep the scar tissue down. I was just like, I don't really care lady.....its on the back of my leg. Seriously, who looks at the back of your leg?
