If you're just looking for fonts, then check out the gothic fonts (sounds ghey, i know, but there really are some great fonts), also check out papyrus and old english. any good artist should have books with these fonts in them.
Or you can do what I do, which is to tell your artist what you want and that you want a custom font as well. keep your idea pretty generic (just a general idea) and then have him/her draw it up their way.....and if they can draw what you were thinking (or better), then you know you're dealing with the right person!
That's how I do it anyway~ (and I've got like 6 or 7 different tats with completely original fonts)
