Been long overdue for a new tat, got a chest piece.... im probably gonna go back in and get some back-shading/shadowing done to it, but didnt have the grip to get it done at the moment, got this tat last Saturday....

He wanted $200 at first but it was smaller then that and im not a small dood so i wanted it bigger... so for $20 more i got that. $220. Hes a bad *** artist, hes done the last two tats of mine.... i just cant decide if i wanna do the back-shading/shadowing on it or not...

Cant decide if it will make the writing pop more or if it will take away from it...

Like that idea bro... it didnt hurt much, the closer to the sternum the more it hurt so "my" hurt the most but it really wasnt that bad at all in my opinion... ima go back and get shading done on it i think... The only time it hurt, is after the outline was done my artist used a alcohol/water mixture to get all the excess ink off me... that **** caught me the **** on fire...

I wanted it bigger to be honest but couldnt afford it, but it worked out fine cuz it goes right above the wife B which im always rockin under my T....

actually thats not bad around here... pretty much any chest piece gon start you around 175-200$... he wanted $200 with the first one he had made and i wanted to go bigger so he said $220 for the size i wanted...

 

that **** hurts, especially if youre in for a long sitting, but like always the sound is more annoying than the pain.

his probably didnt hurt much because its looks like that took about 30 mins, but trust me that **** hurts especially on your sternum. i have a tattoo going from my gut to just below my neck and that **** HURT!

 

+1 that looks like it took less than 1 hour.

 

Actually it was about an hour and 10, hour and 15 minutes from start to finish no breaks....

 

no way it took that long or hes really slow im an apprentice and see it done all day long and i would say 30 mins thats basic work nothing hard about it i have one in the same place says LIFE IS TOO SHORT took 35 mins just my

I'd never pay $220 for it. If I heard more than $75 I'd find someone else.

 

i would say 120 tops thats 10 bucks a letter which a lot of shops do for the bigger letters.. but ya some where around 75 to 100 no way 220 did you get some vaseline with that

man you go ripped off it should have been 120 tops also you can't really **** up on lettering I got 22 tattoos and my tattoo artist doesn't charge nearly that much how long have you been going to that guy?

 

i paid $250 for this one

 

That tat and the one before it....

The thing about pricing is Oklahoma was like the last state to get tattoos legalized. So prices at any tat shop are pretty high ANYWHERE you go in OK unless you personally know the artist.
