stars are terrible. a nautical star is even worse. how many people have that exact same star on the exact same part of their body? be original. a tribal and stars.....thats just too much. might as well close your eyes and point at something on the wall at a shop. its going to have the same meaning as what you are getting. its not like this is going to make you stand out from the rest of the 10000000 girls that have a tribal & stars.
better think it over a little bit before deciding what you want. getting a tat is a life long choice. and lasers arent cheap.

go to tattoo.com or kevinquinn.com he did a peice on my back, his site doesnt have too much, but there are some good ideas, all ORIGINAL **** for the most part.
seriously though, i know you drew the star & all, but trust me, even if you have never seen this star anywhere else, its all ready been done. that fad will be gone in a couple years and you will regret getting it. it sounds cool to you now because you are 17 and did this on your own, but trust me, thats not a tat that you are going to want on you for the rest of your life.
you need to get something that has meaning so you can appreciate it for the rest of your life. tats are like a timeline of your life and are meant to remind you of a specific point in your life.
if you think this star is going to remind you of your childhood when you get older, then maybe its the one for you, but i doubt thats what this tat means. put some thought into it for at least a year and if you still want it, then get it. i waited for a couple years before i got my first tat and it was well worth it. good work isnt cheap, and finding a good artist is even harder.
good luck though.
