Re: Ear Piercings

I love that!! That looks bad ***. Do you sleep with it in, or take it out? That's probably a dumb question
I'm too chicken to get the cartlige pierced. I have each ear done four times, but just can't make it to the top.

Re: Ear Piercings

I won't say it didn't hurt like hell to get it to heal, and I'm horrible with piercings, they take forever for me. But I leave it in all the time. I've put regular 14g hoops in for interviews and things but usually I dont take it out often.

But the problem is, What do I do with the other side now??

Re: Ear Piercings

A friend of mine has two stacked on her left ear. I was looking at doing an orbital on the left I just dont know if I could handle getting my helmet over that for the next few weeks..

Re: Ear Piercings

I'm sure if I get anything it's gonna hurt in a helmet or I can always wait until it snows and do it then and by next riding season it'll heal. But if I do get it done soon I'll def post it so you can see it.

Re: Ear Piercings

Yeah, that is the bad part of having your ears pierced. Mine get caught on the padding inside all the time, usually when I'm taking it off. But I'm used to it. My 2 year old thinks it's a fun game to pull my hoops out when I'm not looking. Luckily, their clasp is real loose and they don't do too much damage coming out.

Re: Ear Piercings

Ouch! My 7 year old daughter asks how the Pin is in my ear. But she shows off my tat more than I do. Hopefully whatever I get on the left won't take nearly as long to heal though.

Re: Ear Piercings

But she shows off my tat more than I do.
Yesterday, my niece asked me "Where did you get that stamp?" She was referring to my tat on my ankle. I lost it!! Her mom has some and for some reason, the little girl started calling them stamps. I thought that was cute.
My son never says anything about my tattoos. They've been there since before he was even born, so I guess he's used to them. That's the way it's always been for him. But the 2 year old likes to pick at them.

Re: Ear Piercings

So will everyone that has one let their kids get one when they turn 18 (if they want one?) Will you have to approve it first? Just curious. I think if it is tasteful, I will let my boys. Not that I think I will be able to stop them, but it's a nice thought.

Re: Ear Piercings

It's her decision. My mama asked I didn't get my eye brow pierced and everything I have can be hidden if need be. But if my daughter decides I'm sure she'll come home with it and show me.. That's what I did.

Re: Ear Piercings

yeah once shes 18 she can do almost anything she wants...tats and piercings are ok....like Red said as long as they are tasteful. I wont hold her back from something I have.. that isnt fair. I'll go with her help pick it out and tell her who to go to for good work even. Cause I will it will be done right. If youre gonna do it - do it right.

Re: Ear Piercings

Yo whatsup, I cant believe Im seein another Missourian in here. LOL Anyways, yeah the orbital is cool. I used to have one, but then took it out since it was hard to do interviews. I got mine when I lived in Breckenridge for the summer and it healed up pretty quick. You definitely have to take good care of it though and it kind of hurts when there putting it in since you have the one earing goin through two holes. I would recommend putting in a horse shoe style ring. Just my .

Peace Justin

Re: Ear Piercings

Thanks Justin. I'm the main sales chick for a vinyl vencing company and I chanced the industrial to clear acrylic when i went for the interview and asked if they had a problem with piercings and tats, my boss laughed and asked if I'd seen our install crew yet. It's family owned but once my hair's down you can't see the piercing and the tat's in the small of my back. My only issues is riding season, sliding a helmet over it might hurt just a little..

Re: Ear Piercings

Thats cool you got a chill boss. If your industrial dont hurt puttin on a helmet, the orbital will be fine. I know it didnt really bother me when I put on my helmet to ride my boys bike out in Cali when I visited him a couple times. Just have to put that side on first LOL.

Peace Justin

Re: Ear Piercings

No I haven't done anything yet, monetary issues, but I'm almost set on the orbital for the top left. And my shoei fits tighter than my HJC so I may be switching my helmets up for a few weeks. And the industrial would flip whenever I put my helmet on. Hurt like hell since it wasn't exactly how it was suposed to be.
