Redline Extreme Site Maintance?

Not going to go into names, but the person that is suppose to update our site has had a month to make some pretty basic changes and has not come through for us. So, if anybody out there knows how to update HTML please reply here or shoot me an email. It should literally only take you 10-20min make to make the basic updates that we request maybe once every 1-3 months. If for some crazy reason this person is able to complete the requested updates to the site before hand...then we will use you as a back up. I know it is pretty basic stuff, but I am too busy myself to try and learn it.

Thanks in advance!

Jimmy,

Why not use Microsoft Frontpage and do it yourself. Frontpage is VERY easy to learn since it is a "visual" based program and does all the HTML for you when you upload it. You could get it for free fro somebody...........

Yeah dude. Or if you want, I can give you a crash course in Dreamweaver so you can take care of it whenever you want. Same basic princable as Front page but a little more advanced if you ever want to go ***** out with it.

You really know how to do this .?. If so, I will email you the original requested changes. I am not even sure how you get in there to make the changes. Supposedly you do it through an FTP link .

Oh yeah...what is your email address?

Thank you :YEAH !

Re: Redline Extreme Site Maintance?

I can help you out w/ this. I was just checking out the source and since it's straight html it's really no problem. Right now my time at work is somewhat limited, but I'm sure I could probably find time.

Re: Redline Extreme Site Maintance?

I'm partial to using Visual Studio nowadays anyways... I just use notepad when I have to make a change in production on the fly.

Thanks Bruce and JC for the offers! I have sent both Scrap and Ashley the updates, so if for some reason there are some things that they are unable to accomplish I will email you guys as my back-up to the back-ups . Thanks for stepping up to the plate and offering to help out though. It's funny I have been working on computers for the past 10 yrs and never learned how to update html. Maybe I can get the cliff notes version from Scrap this week.

How have you and the family been Bruce? Glad to see your still checking up on us to see how we are doing .

Re: Redline Extreme Site Maintance?

Hey Jimmy I just emailed you a little while ago. Can anyone let me know how to actually update the site? I mean I can make all the changes now but I can't actually update their website. I need a site to go to and a user and pass I guess?? I got it like half done so far..

And I just opened DreamWeaver for the first time ever! Luckily my friend has it!
