Hello

I dont like to do this but I need some help with my dog. His name is titus and he is 4 years old ACC certified Boxer . when I got him I was told he needed heart-guard so I took him to the Vet. They said that he had hook worms and heart worms very bad and that heart-guard would not help, this late in the game. They told me that Titus's treatment would cost around $1,000. I can not afford that, So I was wondering if someone knows a Vet or can Help me out. I dont want him to die he means alot to me, he is the best dog I have ever had. Thanks, I might have to start a save titus fund for him like my bike he is my life.

 

I have been told that heart guard over a period of time could work. Depending on how long he has had heart worms. On the other side of it the shots they give to get rid of the worms is also very risky. They can not move or jump around at all after the shots. It is a hard decision to make. I know if I had to, I would sell whatever needed to take care of my dog/dogs. But it's a tough decision cause either way you are taking a chance

 

Laura hes had the heart worms since 2000... Maybe we can do a donation ride or bar b que raffle maybe.. I dunno.. we'll try to figure out something

I've had two boxers and they were sooo kick ***!

If I can find a way, I'll try to get that chatterbox off ya to help ya out, but I just got two tickets the otherday and I don't know what those are gonna run me...

Man, I'm sorry to hear about your trouble. Animal's are way cool, and better than most people. I'm sure this is something that need's to be addressed right now. Like Carms said, let's do a donation bar-b-que. We'll all get together and everyone throw's in 5 or 10 buck's, what ever it take's.

i had a dog who had heartworms and they said we would have to put him to sleep or try heart guard and hope for the best... he had them for a lonnngggg time.......... and the heart guard worked despite what the vet said. so its always worth a shot..... i hope your dog gets better hang in there
