a question for video makers
what do i need as far as getting permission for songs for a video. is there a certain type of release form or something? any help would be greatly appreciated

I basically know nothing except what I have read, but...big name artists want monster cash. (Once had someone try to use a 311 song, they wanted like 11G's) If you find smaller groups I'm sure they would just like to get their name out, but you'll still need a signed form to cover your own *** legally.
