WR250X vs DRZ400 vs CRF450
I'm thinking about getting the new WR250X...
who's stunting the new WR250X with fuel injection?
how's the fuel injection do on circles, and long wheelies? can anyone give me a comparison to the DRZ400 or CRF450 as far as handling on 1 wheel, and how the balance feels on it?

I know Ryan Moore had one for a while, not sure if he still does.

Those 3 bikes aren't even remotely comparable.

I guess I should be more specific on what exactly Im using the bike for..
I want something supermoto'ish to ride to work, but still stuntable. my crf is great for the lot, but not great for riding to work. Im thinking about the WR250X, fuel injection would be bad ***!

Re: WR250X vs DRZ400 vs CRF450
I've owned all 3 right now I have a crf450 for dirt and a wr250x for the street and stunting. the DRZ is a dinosaur compared to the WRX but the DRZ will take anything you can give it just change the oil. The WRX is a great well rounded bike and it is awesome for stunting. with the DRZ any run behinds or long coasters and the carb dumps fuel out all over the place, not the case with the WRX because of the fuel injection. I love my WR right now. It does not even compare to the CF450, two completly different breeds. The 450 will need a lot of work to get it where you want it for stunting.

sweet, I looked at a WR250X today, and under the tail it almost has a damn 12bar, it already has passenger pegs, too!! although I would like them back a little farther, but hell yeah. looks like this machine would be sweet for stunting with very little mods!!!!

you can get a WR250x for cheap now I paid $6500 for mine new, but used they are under $5000 used now all over the place. Very stuntable bike right out of the box. a round bar takes no time to make and the helmet lock location is perfect for a peg. the rear passenger pegs have been useless to me. here are a few pics of my 250X you can see the bar and peg

and twice the clutter, and twice as much **** to over heat and break. The CRF450 is a whole different breed of motorcycle. It's a RACE ready dirt bike, not a tamed motard

rieguy187,
How did you go about mounting that rear footpeg, and do you have any close up pics of it?
Thanks
