I have heard that they are fairly slow, but,this doesn't make any sense to me. Is it that tuned down? 250 thumper dirtbikes are pretty ****** fast. Isn't it almost the same motor as the wr250 dirt model?

motor same, tranny different, wide ratio gearing, should hit 100mph or so.

yeah, stock 250 4-stroke mx bikes crank out lower to mid 30's at the rear wheel. I heard the wr supermoto is detuned. Im sure all that emissions crap doesnt help. The proper motorwork and tuning could get the wr to around 40 at the rear wheel. add a turbo to that and I dunno. I know you will gain HP but I dont know about longivity and reliability of the motor. Those things carry high compression as it is adding a turbo may fry your engine. Id like to see it though, someone report back with the results.

I have a moded 250x and its fast guys. They are very de-tuned from factory but still quick. The gear box is an amazing set up. I get 170 on the highway and Im a 170lb guy. I do have a power comander and a custome dual exhaust we made.

The cans are FMF factory 4.1 titanums and we custome made the midpipe and also used the stock power valve.

I have a couple guys out here in alb with street legal motards and we have a TON of fun riding this city... Tards are just soooo sick. They can go anywhere you can walk basicallly..people look at you like your totally doing something wrong riding a tard around.. I love it.. They either hate you or love you
