So i've got an 06 honda TRX450R, i love riding dirt but i want to get on the street & on a bike. I've had dirt bikes in the past and honestly i don't know why i bought a quad... I've def had fun on it for the few months i've owned it but its time to get back on 2 wheels.

I don't have the space for my quad and a street bike, nor do i want to give up riding dirt (getting ride of the quad and only having a streetbike). i've done a little research and it looks like the DRZ400SM is prolly the only thing i'm going to be able to straight up trade my quad for.

what do you guys think? i'm not lookin for a highway killer, but i do want to be able to hang with street bikes and not be THAT guy that everyone waits for when out riding...or that guy that everyone just leaves behind.

word, i guess i'll suck it up on the highway, whatever... better than not being on the road at all. ive been looking around a bit and seems like you can pull a pretty decent amount of power (considering) out with aftermarket ****. so i'll prolly end up just throwin more money at it...if i end up buying it.

Yeah Alvin had a BIG bore KTM that had prolly close to 50 HP....I think a stock DRZ doesnt carry much more than 30 HP...thats quite a difference...plus I think the KTM was lighter.. the DRZ is a good all around bike though
