Re: stuntin a drz400sm

Ive got a drz sm and a ktm 520 supermoto the ktm stock makes the drz feel like your riding a 50. (night and day) even anfter all the upgrades. Anyway they are extremely under powered but you can make them have some power. Ive put a full exhaust, stage 2 jet kit, gutted the air box, went one down in the front and 3 up in the back made a huge differents. Its a very reliable bike and if you use the rear pegs you can wheelie like crazy. Check out the new yamaha supermoto they are coming out with this year its a wr250x, sucks its a 250 but its fuel injected and looks better then the drz

Re: stuntin a drz400sm

I've done some long *** stoppies with my stock front brake line, there just isn't any consistancy in the brake"feedback" the first stoppie will be great, but after that, it doesn't seem to have them same grip. I can pull just as hard and it won't grip as well...I upgraded to the stainless steel braided line and now I can do the same stoppies, time and time again, with the same squeeze. It's nice to not guess "how much am I going to need to pull on the lever to get the rear up"

That got my attention.....
I'm listening now.... selling your F4i? Why?

Do I know you, I'm local. email me with info on bike....pics please

www.jstuntlocke@yahoo.com

And screw the DRZ's, get a Honda or a KTM. IF you don't want to spend alot of money setting up a Honda(wheels/dualsport kit),you seriously should look at the new Aprillia's.

Undertail exhaust, and ESD already makes passengar pegs for them...with that undertail makes it easier to mount. Fuel injected twin makes way more HP, and shouldn't stall so bad for lot tricks. not to mention it comes with the wheels and tires and brakes already... you can pick one up around KC for like $7333. off the showroom floor.

ASK HIM HOW HE LIKES THEM........

Re: stuntin a drz400sm

i love strunting mine, i have an 07 drz400sm and love it. It reads 97mph on the speedo but i doubt thats right. As for parking lots i love it and i gear it for the winter time because its to cold in upstate NY to rock the streets. Even with the stock gear i can kill the parking lot but on the highway i love it, seat standers, high chairs special ks etc. its awesome, ill try to post some pics.

Re: stuntin a drz400sm

The DRZ-SM is a great bike, but I wouldn't recommend it as an only bike, it's killer for the slow stuff but forget about killing the highway, it's simply not fast enough. I will say that it is a blast to ride and stunt, but plan on pounding the hell out of your chode with the rick hard seat on a long ride
