xr400 motards

anyone ever seen an xr400 with a motard setup? I've never seen one-probably for a reason, just wondering why they never caught on?

Re: xr400 motards

I can't think of a good reason not to do it, if you have access to the bike hook it up!

Re: xr400 motards

Jonny boy of the mental militia used to ride one.
A bit gutless, but a nice, tidy, bulletproof bike.

Looked dead smart too.

Can't find a pic of his bike.

This one's tidy though

They do stop your forks picking up grit, and busting fork seals though.

You can always remove the gaiters.

Re: xr400 motards

yeah or if you want to go big you can buy aftermarket from forks lol. or just pull the guards off, you can get smaller ones too that dont look to bad but still protect dirt and grime from getting under the seals and all that good stuff.
