Hope you learned your lesson on that one if not your pocket will be lighter. I thought for sure Flip would be the one to blow his engine up like that since he loves to revv it up without a load on the engine.
Would be interesting to see what caused the engine to fail since those parts were probley just victims of the real cause. What you guys think? Dropped a valve destroying everything in it's path.

Knowing you really cant rebuild motors and expect them to run for a long time...
So I said screw it... As soon as we pulled off for pro team event it was louder than I have ever heard it... So when I put it into the lawnmower burnout...it blew right away...IT was shooting metal out everywhere so I just kept the gas on... the piston and valve came out the side of the case... then I shut it off... the funny thing after we were done we started it back up in front of the crowd and it ran still....
I had fun what Can I say!!!!!

Matt I think your on the right track considering bike engines have little to zero valve to piston clearence built into them. Still would be funny to see how it came apart put that is the techincain side of me talking. Most have been spinning 10000-12000 rpm to shot parts out the side. But most engines I have torn apart that are blown up the guy doesn't keep pushing it after it starts to make noise.
