Twite, i made a shorty that comes right off my header and turns up and sits right behind my driver footpeg out of some stock R1 exhaust cans. little bending, cutting and riveting... came out great thou, Boyd always tries to steal it off my bike haha

If I had the cash flow I would heed this advice....but as it stands I'm sitting on the side of the lot with my dirty hand out!!

I tried one of those but it makes my bike run like doo doo compared to a full length deal.

gotcha... i left the stock baffle thing that comes int he tip of those cans if, its a small outlet and seems like it kept good back pressure and still pulls good... now that i think about it thou it does pull slightly less hard than a full pipe... i just deal with it i guess haha

Perhaps the baffle makes a difference. The shorty I have doesn't have the baffle and it's a drastic difference in engine pull.

I have a new one, same as Chad 9's, sell ya for $250. Use your stock midpipe and flange the end to bolt up.

Re: 636 Exhaust

my fmf pipe looks, sounds and pulls great, but it doesn't bounce off the rev limiter, or when it does it will only do it for a second.......kinda weird, probably need a power comander. you cant go cheap on this one twite, or else you will get what you pay for

Re: 636 Exhaust

Exhausts are over rated... Just get a coffee can and duct tape it to the header... Then everyone will think your driving a fast Hona <----OxyMoron...

But for real... I dont have anything that could help ya sorry bud!

I put Lorne's old can on and it pulls a bit more than my stock can. Who'd of thunk?
