jamie and i just spent half the day swapping my motor i was all excited until
i hit the button and..........nock nock nock nock nock nock: banghead
i done with this stuntin ****

That sucks. The idle problem on my bike is pretty much fixed. the carbs are getting synced up today and hopefully that will help.

His motor pulled 140 compression across all 4 cylinders. Spec is 130- 200. So its about dead

exactly......140 is within spec, bike runs 100% perfect, no problems......so my ? still stands, why was the motor swapped

i would run that thing to the ground!

Yes that was the motor but it's all good I don't remember it makin noise
I took the clutch out of it aleast it's good lol

damn dude that sucks! It definitely wasnt knocking when it left my house. Did you drain the oil out of it and let it sit? I heard on some 636's you have to do some kind of tricky **** with the oil filter to get it going right, happened to my buddy Jerry when he did a motor swap.

i probably do need to run the motor to seat it back up i just didnt run it long enuf

you might have to crack the oil filter while it's running and let it burp so oil out cause it might be air locked. That's what Jerry's 636 did when he swapped his motor
