I got to take my first ride in an ambulance last night... looped an endo and the 12 bar hit me in the back...

Broken rib, bruised lung, abrasions on all extremeties...

I love my helmet!

Price you pay to try to be a high roller.... I should be back riding in a couple weeks

i hated to hear about your wreck i'm glad your not hurt any worse that you are,how fast were you going? and hows the bike?

on a side note sense the police had to be called out there it probably would be best if nobody went out there on a week day atleast for a month or so. especaily after what happened with the "layin drag thing" so mabey we can keep that spot. we can just hit suwannee or nicelys spot or find some place else for a while

Glad to hear it wasnt worse than that. I agree with chad9. The cops were asking if we had been kicked out before and I wouldnt be surprised if they started cruising by from time to time. Im going to start looking around for a new spot for during the week at least. And for the record, Matt, they were looking good before that one.

Actually the cop that gave the wreckless driving ticket while I was laying on the stretcher told us that we had a great spot, and that they wouldnt bother us back there unless we called them out because someone got hurt. We told them, (as we do every cop) that we have verbal permission, but they wont give us written due to leaglities and because they would be lialble if someone got hurt...

I wouldnt sweat it too much... I doubt we will have much more problems for while... this 100 days of heat is putting more cops on beat than usual... I have been told by some of the neighbors that they call the police all the time about the noise but they never respond... its probably just due to the increased amount of pigs on at the same time...

I wont be riding for a couple weeks anyways so Ill steer clear of it for a bit... but I think were cool!

I heard the cop say that if nobody called them then they dont really care. But that doesn't mean any one of the a-holes that are part of gwinnett's finest wont decide to come back there to catch up on his quota. A few of the cops (like the chick) seemed pretty cool about it but I cant afford any more tickets. Especially not a wreckless.

Did you get a ticket in a parking lot ? Traffic laws don't apply but i'm sure you already knew that . Ticket will be dismissed .

It was behind a warehouse. Traffic laws dont apply but you can still get a wreckless, even on private property.

 

I am actually healing up faster than i thought! I may be back out riding in about another week...

I am glad i stayed home to heal up tho... even if i did miss an awesome time in Indy...

 

I am going to put on some big boxing gloves and punch "The Man" right in his eye!

I will just show up to court and tell them that I was in a parking lot with permission to ride... and see how it goes.
