Charity Stunt show in Norcross All stunters welcome to perform

Everyone,

Invitation to ANYONE to perform at a bike show charity event!

There is a charity bike show/event that needs our support on Sunday June 28th from 1PM to 7PM (plenty of time for everyone to get out and perform) This is being put on by the city of Norcross, so no worries about the cops!

The spot is pretty big. The guy told me that it is 3X bigger than the spot we did our show at hooters. Plus he promised me that it was not seal coated and he would sweep the whole lot for us before we ride.

They already have the sponsor/support from several big local bike shops, and they are putting the names of those who agree to be there on a t-shirt along with the sponsors, that will be passed out/sold/raffled to hundreds of people. (good advertisment opportunity)

This is an invitation to anyone who wants to ride at this even. there will be food and drinks for all the riders. Theres a lot of time to fill, so lets just hang out and do what we love to do infront of the public eye for a change.

Alabama boyz

Athens boyz

You get the picture... its for Charity folks!

Also it would help if any of you have any pull on some of the forums to pump this thing up, because they are hoping this will get real big and become an annual thing!

PM me if you will defietly be there and would like your name or team name to be added to the shirt.

Also if anyone has any contact with the cycledelix please pass the info on to me so i can make sure they get their invitiation.

if they have the sponsor support from big local bikeshops then why dont they shell out some money for us to come. i would love to go, but me and my bike hate doing shows for free, just my personal opinion that i know a few others would agree with. i know its a charity and all but my bike also needs a charity to run! who knows, i just might show up

OK just talked to the main guy organizing the event... Here is his number 678.492.5749 if any of you want to contact him (Dont want anyone to think that I am going to be making money off of you)

There are a couple charities:

He is getting me the names incase some of you want to research them...

The first charity is for giving food and clothing to the underpriveledged (more details to follow)

the second one is to promote recycling (greener earth or sumptin)

Its pretty Legit tho..the dude had a whole crew of people from the city walking around at various bike nights passing out flyers.

As far as the compensation to the riders he mentined that his sponsors are not supporting him financially, they are just giving away prizes (helemts, gloves, shirts...)
and the raffles and funds raised at this even is going towards the charities.

he doesnt expect it to make a whole lot of cash its first year, but hopefully it will be big enough to continue on Annually.

Not to mention it never hurts for stunters to be along side a good cause... thats just good for the sport!

To those of you who do not want to hurt your bikes... Ive seen every one of you completely destroy your bikes entertaiing the dumpsters at our lots... I know that was just practice... but this is for a good cause...its practice and publicity if not just on us, and our teams, but also our sport.

Re: Charity Stunt show in Norcross All stunters welcome to perform

i figured that the "we ride at the spot for free" was gonna come up. you cant put a price on fun or practice......so riding at the spot cannot be compared to going to a charity event for free. and i guess i have already done too many shows, and "gotten my foot in the door" to many people to consider doing shows all that fun. some are some aren't.....

Atta boy... Charity still means expenses are getting covered by someone. The "Talent" for the event is whats being donated for charity
