yeah deathspin gone wrong, snapped te clutch at the end of the spin, it ended up going back to the bar, went to bail and just landed on my foot wrong, twisted instantly.

feels a lot better today, still swelled up a little and its turning a lil black and blue........

and guru, i got the prettiest man foot you have ever seen....ever haha

 

ok sir, you have 6 days to make a full recovery.

Your ankle doesn't look very happy with you at all!

do you wear shoes that go over your ankle like high top type shoes?? I'd either wrap your ankles for a while after this heals up for ya, when you ride... Just until it's back 100% or switch to a shoe with more support so it doesn't happen again...

Actually, I think we should be wearing a shoe with more ankle protection and protection for all the tiny little bones in our feet instead of the style of shoes we all wear now.

yea... I guess walkin with a limp, or not being able to run at full speed, chronic pain, and/or needing a wheel chair (FOR REAL) the rest of your life is as gansta as it gets.... LOL

wellllllll i am by no means gonna go out and by some boots, but i will lace my riding shoes a little tighter from now on......
i think thats why this happened, my shoes were way too loose and there for made it roll instantly on such a simple bail
i need to go get one of those ankle supports your talkin about, i seen a few online that i like, and yeah i def. dont want to have any long term problems cuz of what i do now
**** sucks but the good news is i am already walking on it with hardly any pain, but i still got a huge kankle haha

It was a long time ago... but I was talkin with Dan at the lot about this same thing, and it was as he was showing me those new A stars boots they just gave him, and bitching about how they were too stiff.
I forget which shoe it was exactly(like the One-O-One's or the S-MX 1's) but they looked alot better than the $5. stasis shoes I had at the time and the sha-sha's he always ran for years.LOL they are like high top style almost, all black.

Anywhoooo..... it wasn't a week or so later and he high sided while drifting and the bike landed on his foot, crushing it between the curb and the 636...
Without those new shoes... I dunno. could've prolly ben much worse than it was.
