I can be found at Wal Mart

Well, after having a few ok stunt sessions here, I finally did it. I managed last night to squid it up so terribly bad it was like I never rode at all before.

We pumped a bunch of air in the back tire and heres what happened:

First my handbrake goes completely limp (no comments on this...too easy)
then with the help of Rowdy I decide to go try staggered circles and end up smashing the **** out of my bike. Breaking the right rear set and having no brake at all.

So after this wonderful showing of pure squid antics, I have decided to admit myself to the live bait section in WalMart. You can find me there.

Re: I can be found at Wal Mart

Maybe thats it, because Im trying a bunch of new ****, but I swear, I have never rode this bad before...ever! It is incredibly annoying and I feel like such an ***!

Its over to JRD today to get a much needed HHD dual caliper set up and see how Randy made out with my rearset. THen, back to walmart.

Re: I can be found at Wal Mart

Hey OMR, how does the subcage deal with a sloppy subframe? I have an 06 636 and this is my second subframe in only 3months. So my question is, will the subcage help or make it easier to break? I know people run them but it seems to me that more weight would make it more brittle, or it could stiffen it up and become stronger in certain ways.

What Im saying is that this bike seems to be kind of frail, I dont want to add to it.

it will make the subframe stiffer from side to side because the subcage cross bar ties the two sides of the subframe together but it doesn't help in a gorilla scrape or any thing like that ...

Lorne, I want to buy them from you. Just tell me how much, I will get them asap! My brake is still messed up bc JRD didnt have my bracket until tomorrow so I still cant ride, however, Chadnine is supposed to be coming down tomorrow, if he does, maybe he can pick those up, just let me know how much you want.

omr subcages are awesome for tandem for a few reasons ,

1 -they are way stronger then the stock peg brackets so they don't let the peg point down from flexing like the stock brackets do

2- i rotate the peg mount forward on it's axis so the peg doesn't fold up while your standing on it and as an added bonus this puts your foot on the grippy part of the peg while in a staggered position

3- i make the peg position a little wider then stock so your foot is fully on the peg instead of half on the peg because of the tail pressing against your leg
