Re: KC 50 and Wheeliepro

I'll tell ya what I'm doin, I'm goin 6 up in back and leaving the c/s sprocket stock for now and I can mess with it later. I already got da **** just haven't put it on yet. I figure that gearing will be similar to 2 or 2.5 teeth down on the c/s sprocket as is. Then if I want lower gearing for a day in the lot I can throw a -1 or -2 c/s sprocket on there. -1 +5 doesn't sound like a bad idea, streetable and good for slow wellies

phil u could rock some slow stuff on the streets with like a 5 up in the rear ...
the only reason i use a huge sprocket is for morotbrake ! thats it ...u can actually be a lot smoother with closer to stock gearing !

I went out and bought a pizza pan and drilled some holes in it. It seems to work pretty good, I can rock wheelies without even going anywhere.

Phil...... If you want to keep in the 30-40mph range, I wouldn't gear it any more than you have already. My 954 has all stock gearing, it will probably stay that way. Huge gearing will givyou more control at EXTREMELY slow speeds, you'll be cool with 1 down up front in my opinion.

good advice eric ...not that i know anything but with stock gearing with slow stuff u will burn brake pads like a tank of gas anything can be done on any bike ...but im just looking out for his rotors and the set of brake pads he will be going through a week

phil ...one down 5 up wont hurt u one bit o wow u wont be able to go over 160
