Joe I know you already talked to Jim and Lisa... but for those of you that don't know Matt Hemert was in a horrible accident last night on his 636. It's very hard for me to say that he didn't make it. Please say a prayer for his family. They went though so much with Nicks accident not so long ago, and now they have to deal with this. I wish I could be there, but I don't think I will be able to make it home for the funeral, so everyone else that is able to go please say goodbye to him for me.

RIP Matt, you were a great friend and will be missed very much. Much Love.

While it is always sad when someone leaves this world that young, I have to agree with the posts that at least he went out doing something he loved. While I am in no hurry to go, when the time comes I want to go out doing something I love...

 

Dam..... didn't know matt, that saddens me to here. If I was to pass I'd want everyone to show up at my funeral on bikes or ride in honor of me if I was to be creamated.

Damn, Rest in piece Matt. I still remember the first time he got on that 636 and Nick decided to have him ride with us for a while til he got used to it. I remember how excited he was to be riding along all of us. That was 3 years ago. I am sure he loved every minute of it and like everyone else said I know that he went out doing something he loved. My condolences Nick and your whole family!!!!! I am in NY so sorry I won't be able to be there for the funeral.

I remember that too. He was so excited to ride, and Nick was causious about Matt's riding. Im really going to miss him!! I wish I could have been there today.
